Some 150 of the best sheepdogs and handlers in the country competed in the 3-day English National Sheepdog Trials on the Castle Howard estate near York this weekend to try and win one of 15 places available in the national team. The 126th Egton Show took place in North Yorkshire today. Egton remains one of the largest village shows in the country and is run by a band of voluntary helpers.
