Following my post at the weekend (which can be seen here ) where care, key and medical workers attended a mass vaccination hub at the Centre For Life in Newcastle to be given the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
The hub at the Centre For Life has now opened today to the general public and will be one of seven mass vaccination hubs opening around the country in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Surrey and Stevenage.
Members of the public will receive a letter instructing them to book an appointment slot for their attendance at the hub where they will be administered with the AstraZeneca/Oxford University vaccine.
The UK government pledged to vaccinate the 15 million people most at risk from Covid-19 by mid-February.
