Care, key and medical workers attend a mass vaccination hub at the Centre For Life in Newcastle over the weekend as they were given the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
The hub opens to the general public on Monday and will be one of seven mass vaccination hubs opening around the country in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Surrey and Stevenage.
Members of the public will receive a letter instructing them to book an appointment slot for their attendance at the hub where they will be administered The University of Oxford, AstraZeneca vaccine.
The UK government pledged to vaccinate the 15 million people most at risk from Covid-19 by mid-February.
