Homing Pigeon Show of the Year

The first day of the annual British Homing Pigeon World Show of the Year takes place at Blackpool Winter Gardens on January 18, 2020 in Blackpool, England.

Held over two days the show, now in its 48th year at Blackpool and organised by The Royal Pigeon Racing Association is the largest gathering of pigeon fanciers in the United Kingdom and one of the the largest shows in the world regularly attracting around 25,000 visitors.

Around 2500 of the top homing pigeons in the country are on display, all trying to win best in show with the winner going on to the Supreme Champion Class.

The show also has over 150 trade stands, charity auctions, raffles for new pigeon lofts and activities for visitors and owners with profits from the show going to charity.
