Shooting on assignment for Getty Images News yesterday on a job I had set up a couple of weeks prior I found myself in the historic and rather splendid setting of York Mansion house as I began my coverage behind the scenes at what had been billed as the premier show of York Fashion Week – the fashion showcased came from international designer Scott Henshall and Lady Victoria Hervey.
The show brought the former-director of Mulberry Scott Henshall was to show a retrospective of some of his best designs whilst Lady Victoria unveiled her new swimwear collection, Ladyship Swim.
The show formed part of York Fashion Week and was organised by Fashion City York, which is an initiative made up of local business owners, working to engage with and nurture the fashion community in York.
