The Labour shadow Justice Minister Dan Jarvis MP visited Dormanstown in Redcar earlier today. The visit comes on day eight of a nine day national tour ahead of Labour’s general election campaign and Mr Jarvis heard about the challenges of providing neighbourhood policing after government cuts to police funding and force numbers as well as chatting to some of the people from the area.
Along with Mr Jarvis was the Labour candidate for Redcar and Cleveland Anna Turley and the police and crime commissioner for Cleveland Barry Coppinger.
