Homecoming – York

Over 300 soldiers marched through the city streets on May 24, 2013 in York, England. The soldiers from 2 Signal Regiment have recently returned from deployment in Afghanistan where they were working at various locations in Helmand Province and Kabul providing telecommunications, IT support and secure communications to the troops based there.

Hundreds of people turned out to support the parade as the Mayor of York, Councillor Julie Gunnell and the Commander of 15 Brigade, Brigadier Greville Bibby, took the salute as they marched past Mansion House in the City.
