The ‘all time’ swell that was said to be heading our way for Thursday didn’t quite materialise unfortunately. However some surf still made it through which offered up some pretty decent waves but with some strong winds blowing and a bit of local swell mixing it up it was spoiled a little. Talk of a great swell coming had even reached the US Air Force who did a bit of a fly-by and buzzed the line up to check the surf…..check the tight crop in the last picture in the gallery which was taken as this F 15 Eagle banked over the break and the crew checked the surf…
