A few years ago I provided some surf pictures to a friend and fellow surfer from Saltburn called Simon Palmer who, with a great deal of commitment and time, took it upon himself to begin writing a book that documented the rise and history of surfing in Saltburn-by-the-Sea in Cleveland. The book has recently had another write up on the Drift Europe Surfing website.
