The traditional Boxing Day dip at Redcar in Cleveland took place earlier today and once again it was a well attended event with many of the people taking part doing so to raise money for various charities.
The RNLI and coastguard were in attendance in case there were any mishaps but the event, while a little milder than last year, passed without any problems and all those taking a dip came out with a smile, or maybe a grimace, on their faces…
