I was shooting the ‘Blasts from the Past’ military re-enactment event at the Broadlands estate in Hampshire this weekend. The large 2-day event brings together enthusiasts who recreate events throughout military history in the form of battles, skirmishes and demonstrations.
This is the first of two posts showing various photographs of different re-enactors taking part in battles from different periods in history. The next post will look at the American Civil War through the eyes of the enthusiasts who recreate this bloody time in history.
