I visited the City of Bath this weekend to shoot a few pictures and explore the town and in this, the first of several posts on the city, I look at one of the most well known landmarks.
The City of Bath is named as a UNESCO World Heritage city. The Georgian architecture is famous throughout the world and the Royal Crescent is one of the world’s best known landmarks. Built between 1767 and 1775 and designed by John Wood the younger, the crescent contains some 30 houses and along with the surrounding buildings and park provides a focal point for tourists visiting the town.
Next post…’The River‘, coming tomorrow…..
