Armed Forces Day in Salisbury

This weekend up and down the country towns and cities came together to mark Armed Forces Day. The day offers the opportunity for communities to come together and show their appreciation for the work undertaken by the members of the armed forces.

This parade took place in Salisbury in Wiltshire and consisted of serving soldiers, members of the Territorial Army, Sea and Army cadets and former servicemen and women. Following the parade around the Guildhall there was a short religious service and then the public enjoyed the stands and stalls that had been set up in the market place.
