The Pier

As the most Northerly surviving British pier and the only one along the North East coast Saltburn Pier has a rich history – a brief Google search will bring information about the origins of the pier and the adventures that have surrounded it over the years.

As a photographer living in Saltburn it is one of the main landmarks of the area that will inevitably be photographed over and over again and the challenge is always to try and see it with fresh photographic eyes – to try something different – but its always a great photographic subject to keep coming back to.
