Winter surf has a quality unlike that at any other time of the year.
It’s cold, of course it is, but once you are in the water all suited and booted in head to foot neoprene it becomes far more bearable – the change out of the wetsuit in the car park afterward is the moment it gets a little cheeky though!
To be honest the conditions weren’t epic but after so long away from the surf it was always going to be worth a few pictures.
