The Army Foundation College at Harrogate in North Yorkshire is the first stage of a training process for young recruits joining the Army. The college takes youngsters who have joined the Army and over 42 weeks teaches them the basics of soldiering.

From there, they will move on to more specific job training at another location but it is this stage that turns a 16 – 17 year old youngster into the soldiers of the future.
